Meet the Teacher

Hi! I’m Sara Parsons.
I grew up on a cattle farm right here in Ashe County and have always felt a deep connection to both agriculture and community. I graduated from Appalachian State University in December 2018 with a degree in Child Development: Birth through Kindergarten.

For the past seven years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching in an NC Pre-K classroom. These years brought a wide range of experiences—some incredibly rewarding, and others that opened my eyes to the challenges within the traditional education system.

After my husband and I welcomed our daughter, we began to see more clearly how the current system often falls short of what children truly need. This realization—combined with our love for Jesus, our agricultural roots, and my deep passion for teaching—inspired us to create a better alternative for our family and for yours.
