Young
Family Farm
Established in 1950 by Stanley and Cora Beatrice “Tootsie” Young, our farm has been in continuous operation for nearly 75 years.
For many years, Stanley and Tootsie raised burley tobacco, a tradition later continued by the next generation—Jed and Vickie Young, the current owners. Today, Jed and Vickie focus on raising beef cattle and sheep, continuing the legacy of hard work and stewardship that began decades ago.

Roadie belonged to Stanley’s brother, Lester Young, and had previously been used by the state during the construction of Highway 16.
